Marshview

Marshview is a residential care home providing personal care to 13 older people in one adapted building, with capacity for up to 23 residents. The home supports people with a range of needs associated with old age. Staff knew residents well and provided person-centred care that met individual needs. People were supported to engage in activities they enjoyed and found meaningful, and received their medicines safely when needed. Staff understood the risks associated with residents they supported and protected them from harm, abuse, or discrimination by knowing what actions to take if concerns arose. The inspection identified that improvements were needed to people's care plans and the provider's quality assurance system, as the audit process had not identified certain shortfalls found in people's records.
