Victoria House Care Home

Victoria House Care Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 26 older people, including those living with dementia or memory loss and others needing support with personal care and health needs. The CQC found the service was performing well overall and rated it Good, with staff trained to recognise and respond to safeguarding concerns and enough staff on duty to meet people's needs.

Care plans and risk assessments supported people's safety while allowing choice and independence, and people felt respected and involved in decisions about their care. People and relatives spoke positively about staffing levels and kindness shown by staff. However, inspectors found leadership required improvement, even though other areas assessed met expectations.
