Byron Lodge Care Home

Byron Lodge provides personal and nursing care for up to 61 people, with 43 residents at the time of inspection, some living with dementia. The home's monitoring systems were not always effective in driving improvements. Audits identified issues including a sluice bin requiring replacement since March and equipment stored inappropriately in bathrooms, but these problems had not been addressed by the time of inspection. Storerooms also required attention, particularly the decommissioned bathrooms.
