Greenside Court

Greenside Court accommodates up to 22 people who require personal care and nursing, specialising in neuro-disabilities, brain injury, stroke, mental health conditions and Huntington's disease. The service operates across two main units plus an adjacent 'one-care' service offering more independent accommodation where people are supported to develop life skills. Staff demonstrated strong motivation and passion for their work, with high levels of skill and attentiveness to individual needs. The service maintained consistent engagement with people, families and other professionals, creating an inclusive environment where residents could pursue meaningful lives. The team was remarkably responsive to people's needs, including participation in an exploratory study examining relationships and sexuality in complex care settings, with findings to inform future staff training and policy development. People achieved positive outcomes through strong, supportive relationships with staff.
