Burlington Court

Burlington Court provides personal care and support for up to 102 people aged 65 and over, some of whom live with dementia. The home accommodates residents across two floors with lifts to the first floor, where those with dementia needs are housed. Each floor has communal lounges, dining rooms, and there are wheelchair-accessible gardens available.

At the time of inspection, 85 people were receiving care. Inspectors found that the provider had not ensured sufficient facilities were available for staff to easily access masks, hand washing facilities, and waste disposal areas, creating infection control risks. People were supported to shield from visitors and isolate when necessary due to Covid-19 concerns. The registered manager demonstrated openness and transparency, with a clear understanding of areas needing improvement. Staff felt well supported by the management team, and their concerns had been addressed and used to drive service improvements.
