Brown Edge House Residential Home

Brown Edge House is a purpose-built residential care home in St Helens, Merseyside, providing accommodation for up to 20 people aged 65 and over, including those living with dementia. At the time of inspection, the home was at full capacity with 20 residents.

Inspectors found that residents were able to maintain contact with loved ones safely through visits and alternative methods including video and telephone calls. Personal protective equipment was readily available throughout the home, with supplies positioned at the front door for visiting professionals and hand sanitisation stations located in various areas. Most staff members were observed wearing PPE correctly.
