Brook View is a nursing home supporting people with nursing needs, mental health conditions and physical disabilities. The CQC rated the home Good overall. Inspectors found staff kind, attentive and knowledgeable, with people involved in their care and treated with dignity and respect.

Medicines management had improved and staffing levels met people's needs.

However, some care records and risk mitigation lacked sufficient detail, and audits did not always lead to timely action, placing people at risk of harm and resulting in a breach of regulation. The provider responded promptly to concerns raised. Leadership was found to be strong, with good staff morale and effective, if improving, governance.
