The CQC rated the home Good overall, finding a clean, well maintained and recently refurbished environment, warm and personalised care, and strong, visible leadership. People and relatives spoke highly of staff kindness, safety and the calm, family-like atmosphere.

Inspectors found medicines were managed safely, though some record keeping around care plans, nutrition and repositioning needed better updating and consistency. Some relatives felt meal choices could be more varied. The manager had already begun addressing these issues during the assessment.
