Alt Park Nursing Home

Alt Park Nursing Home provides nursing care for people with a range of health needs. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall, with Well-led rated Inadequate, following concerns about care, treatment and the environment. Inspectors found widespread cleanliness issues, unsafe medicines management, poorly managed risks and weak oversight, with breaches remaining unresolved since the last assessment, plus a new breach relating to dignity and respect.

Staff were described by people and relatives as kind and caring, and staffing levels were considered adequate. However, feedback was mixed, with concerns raised about mealtime choice, lack of activities, and equipment cleanliness. The provider made some improvements during the assessment, and an action plan has been requested.
