Grace Lodge Nursing Home

Grace Lodge accommodates up to 65 people across two floors, providing nursing and personal care. At the time of inspection, 23 people were using the service. The home had made improvements in managing medicines since the last inspection, though further enhancements were still needed. Staff supported people with maximum choice and control, using the least restrictive practices while acting in their best interests.

The registered manager and staff demonstrated clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities, with the manager promoting a person-centred, open and inclusive culture. Relatives reported that staff were attentive to people's needs and communicated well about changes in care. Staff were kind, patient and respectful, actively promoting people's dignity and independence. The service worked effectively with external partners to ensure people received comprehensive care and support.
