Brigstock House

Brigstock House provides personal care for up to eight people with learning disabilities in one adapted building. At the time of inspection, all eight places were occupied. The service is designed to support people in living meaningful lives with control, choice, and independence, providing person-centred support that is planned, coordinated, and inclusive.

Staff received safeguarding training and clear procedures were in place to protect people from abuse. Risks were assessed and mitigated to reduce the likelihood of avoidable harm. People received their medicines appropriately, and sufficient staff were available to keep people safe, recruited through robust processes. The home maintained good cleanliness and hygiene practices to control infection risks. People's needs were assessed by the provider alongside health and social care professionals.
