Brigstock House is a care home providing personal care and accommodation for up to eight people with a learning disability, autism and/or a physical disability. Most residents have lived there for many years and are well known to staff. The CQC assessed the service after concerns were raised by a local authority, and found the provider had taken thorough and appropriate action to resolve them.

Inspectors found people were safe and well cared for, with effective staffing and a clean, homely environment. Relatives praised the family feel of the home and the inclusive, attentive staff support. The service is now rated good overall, with good ratings across all areas assessed.
