Wayfield Avenue Resource Centre is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care for people aged 40 and over with a range of functional mental health needs. Run by Brighton and Hove City Council, the service supports up to 24 people, offering both long-term and respite care. At the time of inspection, 19 people were receiving care at the home.
The service is located in a purpose-built building across three floors. Bedrooms are on the first and second floors, with a short-term admissions unit also available. Each floor has dining areas, kitchenettes, and lounges, while ground floor communal spaces are shared by all residents. The service includes gardens and outdoor facilities for residents' use.
