Bradfield Residential Home

Bradfield Residential Home provides personal care for up to 37 older people, many living with dementia, in a single extended building. At inspection, 32 people were using the service. Residents reported feeling happy and safe. The home had assessed potential risks to people's health and welfare, with guidance in place for staff to minimise these. The environment had been checked and adapted to meet residents' needs, with signs and pictorial aids helping people navigate the space. The building was clean and odour-free, with staff following government guidance on personal protective equipment.

Staff had been recruited safely and staffing levels were sufficient to meet residents' needs. Residents received their medicines as prescribed, and staff had received training appropriate to their roles to support people effectively.
