The registered manager and staff demonstrated openness and competence, with effective governance systems in place to oversee the home's operations. People and their relatives spoke positively about the culture within the home.

Staff understood how to protect people from abuse and avoidable harm. Medicines were managed safely and risks were assessed appropriately. The provider conducted relevant safety assessments to ensure the home was suitable for residents.

While the home demonstrated strong practices, some recording issues were identified and recommendations were made about record keeping.
