Copperfields

Copperfields is a care home providing residential care for older people, supporting around 25 people at the time of the assessment. The CQC found the home was performing well overall, with previous concerns about supervision, care records and governance now addressed, though a new electronic care records system still needed to be fully embedded across the home.

Staff were well trained and supervised, and understood people's needs and risks. People and relatives spoke positively about kindness, dignity and staff availability, and felt involved in care planning. Inspectors found a good learning culture, with concerns investigated appropriately and management described as approachable.
