Rushmore House

Rushmore House provides personal care to up to 30 older adults and people living with dementia, with 26 residents at the time of inspection. Staff support people to have maximum choice and control of their lives in the least restrictive way possible, with policies and systems in place to support this practice. However, not all capacity assessments and best interest records had been completed when required, and the service was recommended to improve its record keeping for Mental Capacity Act decisions and best interest assessments.
