About Tryfan House

Tryfan House is a nursing care home in Leeds, providing nursing and personal care for adults, including those living with dementia. The CQC's latest findings on this service are summarised below.

This care home accommodates up to 30 people requiring nursing or personal care support, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 22 residents were in residence. Relatives confirmed their loved ones received safe care, and inspectors observed residents appearing relaxed and well-supported by staff who demonstrated good knowledge of individual needs.

Most risks to residents' care were appropriately assessed with management measures implemented, such as fall prevention and nutritional monitoring. However, inspectors identified gaps in documentation practices, with records not always detailed or completed consistently when residents required additional support due to distressed behaviour or when monitoring was needed.
