Berrycroft Manor

Berrycroft Manor is a purpose-built residential care home providing accommodation and personal care for up to 78 older people and people living with dementia, across six units on three floors. The CQC found staff were kind and caring, with positive feedback from people and relatives about staff and daily life, but rated the home Requires Improvement overall.

Inspectors identified breaches relating to medicines management, staffing levels, particularly at night, individual risk management, and governance. Care plans and monitoring records were not always up to date, and audits had failed to pick up issues found on inspection. The provider has been asked for an action plan to address these concerns.
