Bedhampton Nursing Home and Specialist Care Unit provides nursing care and accommodation for up to 49 people, supporting older people and younger adults with physical disabilities, sensory impairment or dementia. The CQC rated the service good overall, an improvement from its previous requires improvement rating. Inspectors found breaches identified at the last inspection, around safe care and governance, had been resolved, with a new management team and effective quality assurance systems in place.

People told inspectors they felt safe, well cared for and able to raise concerns confidently with staff. Feedback on staffing levels was mixed, though residents praised staff skills and involvement in care planning. Well-led was rated requires improvement, while safe, effective, caring and responsive were all rated good.
