Bassett House

Bassett House provides personal and nursing care for up to 63 older people across three floors, with communal spaces and an enclosed garden. At the time of inspection, 61 people were living at the service. Risk assessments to protect people's personal safety were in place, though some assessments were generic and monitoring documentation was not consistently completed to evidence that appropriate care had been given. During the inspection, staffing levels were observed to be sufficient, with staff visible and call bells responded to quickly. However, recruitment checks had not always been fully completed.
