Ashgrove House Nursing Home

Ashgrove House accommodates up to 34 people requiring nursing and personal care, with 28 residents at the time of inspection. The service implemented strong infection control measures, dividing the home into separate Covid-19 and non-Covid areas with staff assigned to specific zones only. Those working in Covid-19 areas received appropriate personal protective equipment including masks, gloves, aprons, face shields, hair caps and sleeve covers. The home used cloud-based technology and intelligent personal assistants to minimize direct contact between staff working across different zones, helping protect vulnerable residents during the pandemic.
