The service implemented strong infection control measures, dividing the home into separate Covid-19 and non-Covid areas with staff assigned to specific zones only. Those working in Covid-19 areas received appropriate personal protective equipment including masks, gloves, aprons, face shields, hair caps and sleeve covers.

The home used cloud-based technology and intelligent personal assistants to minimize direct contact between staff working across different zones, helping protect vulnerable residents during the pandemic.
