Barton Cottage

Barton Cottage is a short-stay care home providing accommodation, rehabilitation, personal and nursing care for up to 12 people. Six residents were staying at the time of inspection. Garden visits operated during warmer months, with window visits available as an alternative.

The home made modifications to communal areas and staff rooms to support social distancing measures. Staff implemented a visiting protocol that balanced residents' contact with family and friends while maintaining health and safety precautions through the use of designated spaces, including a dedicated indoor visitor's room planned for future use.
