Could the NHS fund Kings Bromley Care Home's fees?
NHS Continuing Healthcare could cover 100% of care costs with no means test.
Kings Bromley Nursing Home provides care to up to 46 people, supporting younger and older adults with a range of needs including mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and dementia. At inspection, 42 people were using the service. Staff were well trained and staffing numbers were sufficient to meet people's needs. The home managed medicines safely and had effective infection prevention control measures in place.
People felt safe and protected from harm. They were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives, with staff using the least restrictive approaches in their best interests. Personalised care plans were in place and activities were tailored to people's interests and preferences. The registered manager led by example to promote a positive and inclusive service. The home had a complaints policy that was followed as required, and people received good end of life care. Lessons were learned when things went wrong.
