Avondene Care Home

This care home in Mudeford accommodates up to 11 older people in an adapted residential building. At inspection, nine residents were living there. The home has strengthened its governance systems, with quality audits now being completed and analysed to identify patterns and drive learning. These audits cover infection prevention and control, accidents and medicines management.

Staff expressed confidence in the registered manager and spoke positively about recent changes within the home. The manager described strong teamwork and noted they receive good support from the provider.
