Avon Lee Lodge

Avon Lee Lodge accommodates up to 30 older people in the main house and three self-contained assisted living pods within the gardens. The home demonstrated strong infection prevention and control practices, with policies and staff training aligned to best practice guidance. Visiting was managed by appointment only, with staff trained in infection prevention and control meeting visitors at the entrance to check temperatures, complete health questionnaires, ensure hand cleansing, and provide personal protective equipment where needed. These measures effectively protected people, staff and visitors from infection risks.
