The care home has made improvements since the last inspection in September 2016, particularly around its governance arrangements. Applications to deprive people of their liberty are now properly made to the local authority for authorisation, and people receive their medicines as prescribed by their GP. However, inspectors identified that systems for monitoring risks to people need further improvement. When unexplained bruising or skin tears occur, staff are completing body maps but not always completing full incident reports, meaning the charts do not clearly show what action was taken in response to these concerns.
