Inspectors found missing information in staff recruitment files, including gaps in education and work history that had not been explored during the recruitment process. The registered manager subsequently completed a full audit of all staff files and provided the missing documentation. Medicines ordering and disposal systems were secure, though storage procedures did not always follow good practice, and record-keeping for administering external medicines such as topical creams lacked clarity. Fire alarm system upgrades were completed following the inspection.
