Ashley Court Care Home provides personal and nursing care for up to 38 people, with 33 residents at the time of inspection. The service supports older people, including those living with dementia, across two floors, each with lounge and dining areas. Inspectors found missing information in staff recruitment files, including gaps in education and work history that had not been explored during the recruitment process.

The registered manager subsequently completed a full audit of all staff files and provided the missing documentation. Medicines ordering and disposal systems were secure, though storage procedures did not always follow good practice, and record-keeping for administering external medicines such as topical creams lacked clarity. Fire alarm system upgrades were completed following the inspection.
