Ashlar House

Ashlar House accommodates up to 44 people living with dementia and provides nursing care in a single-floor facility located within St Margaret's hospital grounds in Epping. At inspection, 43 residents were staying at the service. Safe recruitment checks were in place for staff, though minor improvements were recommended for staff recruitment file management.

Relatives spoke positively about the care provided, with one family member commenting, "Staff are excellent. They have genuine concern for the resident's wellbeing. The manager is approachable, and I have no concerns." Care and treatment were planned and delivered safely, with staff receiving appropriate training to support residents' welfare and wellbeing.
