Ashford House Care Home

This residential care home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 27 older people with physical disabilities, dementia and mental health needs. At the time of inspection, 15 people were using the service and receiving regulated personal care. The accommodation is spread across two floors, accessible by lift and stairwells.

The registered manager was described as accessible, open and inclusive, with people, relatives and staff expressing confidence in their leadership. Quality assurance systems and processes to monitor the quality and safety of the service had improved since the last inspection. However, several premises improvements identified at the previous inspection had not yet been completed.
