About Anson Court

Anson Court is a nursing home in Hertfordshire providing care for older people, including those living with dementia. The findings below set out the CQC's most recent assessment of the home.

Anson Court is a residential care home providing care and support for up to 75 older people, including those living with dementia. The CQC carried out this assessment after concerns raised by whistle-blowers about staff morale and management support, but inspectors found a newly recruited management team had made a positive difference to the home, with staff speaking positively about day-to-day care.

Inspectors found people were kept safe, with health conditions and risks assessed and managed well. Staff treated people with kindness and respected their dignity, and people and relatives gave positive feedback about care. Some personal care did not always reflect individual preferences, though this was addressed when raised with the manager.
