Anchor House

Anchor House accommodates up to seven people in an adapted building in a residential area of Poole. The service provides personal care but does not offer nursing care. At inspection, all seven registered places were occupied. The home had implemented comprehensive visiting arrangements during the pandemic, including individual 'My Covid-19 Visiting Support Plans' for each resident that identified their needs and any associated risks. Clear guidance was provided to visitors regarding infection prevention and control procedures, with supplies of fluid repellent surgical masks and additional protective equipment available. All visits were pre-booked and monitored by staff who health screened and escorted visitors to ensure compliance with safety measures and protect both residents and staff.
