About Althea Park House

Althea Park House is a nursing home in Gloucestershire providing care for people with eating disorders. Further details from the Care Quality Commission's most recent inspection are set out below.

Althea Park House is a care home with nursing that provides therapeutic care and support to people with eating disorders. The service accommodates up to ten people across an adapted building and a purpose-built facility called The Anchor. A clinical team, which may include professionals from a person's funding authority, assesses risks and develops care plans with clear safety guidelines for staff to follow.

Staff demonstrate confidence in their knowledge and skills for managing safety incidents, which are analysed for lessons learned. The home works with health professionals to regularly review people's risks and implement appropriate safety measures. Infection prevention and control procedures are in place to keep people safe.
