Alicia Nursing Home

Alicia Nursing Home provides accommodation and nursing care for up to 68 people across three buildings, supporting older people, people living with dementia, people with mental health needs, and, in Atwell House, people with a learning disability and autistic people.

The CQC found the service continued to breach regulations around governance and premises, and identified new breaches relating to safeguarding, safe care, and person-centred care. Many people and relatives spoke positively about kind, familiar staff, though some raised concerns about staffing levels and personal care support. Inspectors observed that interactions were sometimes task-led, with limited meaningful activity for some residents.
