Milliner House

Milliner House provides personal care to up to 40 older people and those with mental health support needs. At inspection, 39 people were using the service. Staff were trained in safeguarding and understood how to report concerns, with people reporting they felt safe within the home. Medicines were safely managed by trained staff, and safe recruitment procedures were in place. Accidents and incidents were documented appropriately to enable learning.

People were supported to have maximum choice and control over their lives, with staff supporting them in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests. Both people and staff felt the service was well managed and had confidence in raising concerns. Staff were well supervised, understood their roles clearly, and systems were in place to maintain consistent quality with prompt action taken where required.
