Alderson House

Alderson House provides personal and nursing care to up to 18 people with mental health issues. At the time of inspection, 17 people were being supported at the service.

Staff understood their safeguarding responsibilities and risks to people's safety were assessed with appropriate measures in place to keep people safe. The service employed sufficient numbers of staff who received relevant training for their roles.

Quality monitoring systems and processes existed, though these were not fully effective. Inconsistencies were found between information in care plans, and audits around some areas of practice lacked robustness.
