Albert House is a residential care home accommodating up to eight adults with learning and/or physical disabilities. The home was at full capacity with eight residents during the inspection.

The service demonstrated several strengths in its operations. The provider had created an online portal enabling the registered manager to access all guidance, policies and procedures centrally. The Business Continuity Plan had been updated to reflect current pandemic considerations.

Additionally, the provider established a charitable fund to supplement statutory sick pay for staff required to self-isolate, demonstrating support for workforce wellbeing during challenging circumstances.
