Airedale Residential & Dementia Home

This residential care home provides personal care for up to 40 people, including those living with dementia, mental health needs, and physical disabilities. The service operates across three floors in an adapted building with lift access, with communal areas on the ground floor. At inspection, 35 people were using the service.

The inspection identified significant concerns regarding safety and standards. Medicines were not always managed safely, and risks to people were not identified, assessed, or mitigated effectively. The home was not maintained to adequate standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Staffing levels were insufficient to meet residents' needs and ensure their safety. Additionally, people's privacy and dignity were not consistently respected throughout the service.
