Acacia Court

Acacia Court provides residential care and personal support to 41 people aged over 65, with 27 residents at the time of inspection. The service assesses people's needs before admission and works with healthcare professionals to ensure those needs can be met. Staff receive training and supervision, and residents are supported with nutrition and hydration.

However, inspectors found that training was not consistently embedded across all areas of care. Some staff showed unclear understanding of safeguarding procedures, particularly regarding who to report safeguarding concerns to at the local authority. The inspector recommended the service review staff training and competencies to address these gaps.
