Adelaide Care Home

Adelaide Care Home accommodates 76 people across four separate wings, with two wings specializing in dementia care. At the time of inspection, 69 people were using the service. People and their relatives reported feeling safe at the home. Staff demonstrated understanding of different types of abuse and knew the appropriate actions to take if concerns arose. The home had systems in place to assess and manage risks to residents, and recorded accidents and incidents to learn from them.

Residents received their prescribed medicines safely and on time. The home maintained adequate staffing levels to meet people's needs promptly and followed safe recruitment practices to protect residents from potential harm.
