Abbotsleigh Mews Care Home

Abbotsleigh Mews provides personal and nursing care to up to 120 people across four separate houses, supporting those living with dementia, sensory impairment and physical disabilities. Each house has adapted facilities tailored to residents' needs. People and their relatives spoke positively about staff and reported that the service had improved. The home protects people from abuse with systems in place, manages medicines safely, and ensures staff are appropriately recruited and deployed. Risk assessments are regularly reviewed and documented, and infection control procedures are established.

The service has a new registered manager who has driven improvements across the home. Management demonstrates a commitment to quality monitoring and continuous learning, with staff working to meet people's needs safely and promptly.
