Clifton House provides personal care to up to 16 people with mental health conditions, some of whom also have learning disabilities. At inspection, 11 people were using the service. Staff support people to have maximum choice and control over their lives, using the least restrictive approaches.

The service's policies and systems reflect this commitment to enabling independence. Staff receive training in safeguarding and the registered manager reports all allegations to the local authority safeguarding team. The manager reviews safeguarding investigations, accidents, incidents and feedback to drive service improvements.
