Acacia Lodge Care Home

Acacia Lodge is a nursing home providing accommodation, nursing and personal care for up to 40 older people, some living with dementia. During inspection, 25 people were using the service.

Inspectors found significant concerns with management and oversight. The home lacked effective monitoring systems, resulting in poor outcomes for residents. Staffing presented particular challenges, with insufficient knowledge among care workers about individual residents and their needs. Staff had not completed all required training, including dementia care training. The service relied heavily on agency staff without consistent knowledge of the home and its residents.
