Abiden Care Home

Abiden Care home provides personal care for up to 22 people in a single adapted building, supporting older people, those living with dementia, people with mental health needs, and those with physical disabilities. At inspection, 12 people were living at the service.

The home maintains adequate staffing levels to meet people's needs, and both residents and relatives reported feeling safe. Staff have completed safeguarding training, and individual and environmental risk assessments are in place. Staff files were mostly complete, though the inspector recommended ensuring proof of identity checks were documented for all staff.

Accident and incident records lacked comprehensive documentation of actions taken following incidents, which meant audits did not fully reflect all accidents occurring at the service.
