Healey Lodge Residential Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 24 people, including older adults, younger adults, people living with dementia and people with a learning disability. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall, with safety judged Inadequate. Inspectors found risks, medicines, staff recruitment and infection control were not managed safely, and care records and staff training had significant gaps.

The CQC also found weaknesses in leadership, person-centred care and how complaints were handled, with five breaches of legal regulation identified. Some positives were noted: relatives generally felt people were happy and safe, staff were kind, and the registered manager was seen as approachable. The provider must show clear improvement.
