Oakmount House

Oakmount House provides personal care to up to 10 people with mental health needs in an adapted property on the outskirts of Burnley town centre. At inspection, the service was operating at full capacity. People feel safe and staff are able to recognise and report concerns, with systems in place to monitor and manage risks. Environmental checks and individual risk assessments are completed and regularly reviewed.

Staff are recruited safely with sufficient numbers to meet people's needs. Medicines are managed safely and infection control measures are in place. People are supported to have visitors and are encouraged to have maximum choice and control over their lives, with staff supporting them in the least restrictive way possible.
