The Oaks

The Oaks is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care to up to 113 people, including older people, those living with dementia and people with mental health needs. It previously held an Inadequate rating and had been in special measures due to concerns over nutrition, person-centred care, safety and governance.

Following a further assessment, the CQC found significant improvements had been made and the home is no longer in special measures. People using the service and their relatives said they felt safe and were receiving good quality care. Inspectors rated the home Good overall.
