Abbots Wood Manor

Abbotts Wood Manor is a purpose-built care home providing nursing and personal care for up to 60 people across four separate units. Currently two units are open, with one specialising in dementia care. At the time of inspection, 22 people were living at the service. The building was designed during the COVID-19 pandemic with dedicated safe visiting areas.

The home has effective systems to assess risk and protect people from abuse. Staff have the skills and training to meet individual health needs, and staffing levels are good with people reporting that staff are always available when needed. The home maintains robust recruitment practices to ensure suitable staff are employed.
