Walton Manor Residential and Nursing Home

Walton Manor is a purpose built two storey building in Liverpool that supports older people, some with dementia and nursing needs, accommodating up to 49 residents. At the time of inspection, 44 people were living at the home.

Most care plans contained good levels of information, though the registered manager acknowledged that some plans varied in their level of personalised detail and consistency. Complaints were well documented and responded to appropriately. End of life care was treated sensitively and with consideration for residents' needs.

The home did not always have effective systems in place to ensure quality and safety standards were consistently maintained and monitored.
