23 Pierrepoint Road, in Ealing, is a care home for up to 11 adults with a learning disability; 6 people were living there at the time of assessment. The CQC rated it Requires Improvement, down from Good, after finding breaches relating to safe care, safeguarding, dignity and governance. Risks such as unsecured cleaning products were not properly managed, medicines were not always handled safely, and staff interactions were often task focused rather than person centred.

There was no registered manager in post, which affected how well improvements were embedded. Some people and relatives spoke positively about staff kindness and familiar routines, but inspectors found care did not consistently meet expected standards.
