Youell Court

Youell Court accommodates up to 40 older people in a purpose-built home across three floors, with one floor providing specialist care for people living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 35 people lived at the home.

People felt safe and received care from staff who understood their responsibilities to protect residents from harm. The management of medicines and risks associated with people's care and the environment had improved, demonstrating that lessons had been learned from previous inspections. Staff were recruited safely and sufficient numbers were available at the times people needed them.
